This is version 2.4 of yakIcons, a free shareware C++ library for fast vga graphics animation optimized for game design (specifically tiled backgrounds a la the Keens, Ultimas, etc). Also includes archive class (put all data in one archive by file), joystick routines, ververy extensive mouse support (gadgets, switches, sliders, buttons, shuffleable sizeable layerable windows (woo!), and loads and loads and loads of stuff. If you're into games programming and not into heavy bit-by-bit assembly, it's not a bad way to go. Note:: this was updated a little haphazardly, so the file "yakpcx.cpp" is missing from many of the .prj files... just insert it and you should be fine. Requires BC++ 3.1, but I've heard of other folks having great luck with other compilers. -->VPutz
